Nîmes

What a small little village with history as long and rich as...hmm...a never ending hot chocolate (which the French do best may I add. Not sweet, but bitter, smooth and rich. But not sickly in the slightest. Doing a bit of research on this one, I need a hit!)

So anyway, we spent the day here, its not far from Montpellier. Its a quite town, but has the only other Colosseum in the world. We got a recorded history while walking around...never knew there were different types of Gladiators, just thought they all did what Russell Crow did. BOOM BOOM! LETS FIGHT A LION! RAA! But theres a little more to it apparently. And now the place is used for outdoor concerts. How amazing! The scaffolding was there for seats where the original seating configuration had somewhat crumbled over several hundred years.

Also, this place had the best dessert. Tiramisu winners right here.
